21 SOULS

Image
It was an overwhelming experience to be with my brother and sisters in Christ yesterday.   The Worship Ministry held a fellowship last night and I thank God for allowing us to have that time spent with one another.   It was not just about the plans for the ministry that we are involved with, it was not just about the food that we’re going to eat, it was not just about the issues that we’re going to discuss – IT IS NOT ALL ABOUT US, IT IS ABOUT OUR GOD WHOM WE ARE SERVING. It was the day that the Lord has made for the Worship Team to gather and to have a good time together after all the activities held in the church.   It was the time that the Lord touched each and everyone’s heart to voice out how the Lord works in their lives (that includes me too).   21 souls. 21 souls who came and attended the fellowship. 21 souls who experienced God’s love and presence last night. Our fellowship started with singing leaded by Coco.   We sang Here I am to Worship, and For Who You Are.   Those

The Narrow Door

Something to reflect on... I like this story in the Bible when Jesus was asked this question: "Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?" God bless you all! Luke 13:22-30  The Narrow Door   22 Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem. 23 Someone asked him, “Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?”    He said to them, 24 “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. 25 Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, ‘Sir, open the door for us.’     “But he will answer, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’     26 “Then you will say, ‘We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’     27 “But he will reply, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!’     28 “There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham

I-D-E-N-T-I-T-Y

My friend Niki asked me if I know Robert Pierre.  I said no, I'm not familiar with that name. Then she sent me his two songs "Identity" and "Jesus". I was inspired then to do a video clip from that song.  I like the message of the song, IT'S VERY REAL. materials for this clip: variety of images taken from gettyimages.com and google.com Windows Media Player and God' inspiration. It is my first time to make one like this. I was overwhelmed to watch the result and telling myself "THANK YOU LORD FOR USING NIKI TO INTRODUCE ROBERT PIERRE'S SONG. FOR MY SKILLS THAT THE LORD HAS GIVEN ME.  FOR ALL THE INSPIRATION. TO GOD BE THE GLORY" enjoy and be blessed! IDENTITY Robert Pierre He knows what he stands for But they don't understand Why he chooses to be different He sees that they're laughing Because he won't join in At the party Friday night They ask him why and he says That's who I am Forgiven and set free It doe

Plot Summary for Eat Pray Love ( 2010 ) Liz Gilbert (Roberts) had everything a modern woman is supposed to dream of having - a husband, a house, a successful career - yet like so many others, she found herself lost, confused, and searching for what she really wanted in life. Newly divorced and at a crossroads, Gilbert steps out of her comfort zone, risking everything to change her life, embarking on a journey around the world that becomes a quest for self-discovery. In her travels, she discovers the true pleasure of nourishment by eating in Italy; the power of prayer in India, and, finally and unexpectedly, the inner peace and balance of true love in Bali. Written by Sony Pictures ** I watched this movie.  My rating: 9/10 It was a cool movie! Not because I like Julia Roberts, but I like the whole story.  For me, there was not dull moment.  I was hooked by her character and the people she gets involved with.  And every place, every person she encounters, there's always a lesson

Finally! :) I prayed for this. I prayed for him. Sometimes doubt enters my mind, yet I chose to wait. And I believe it's really worth the wait! All praises belong to JESUS! 12November2010

One Month of Experience

Image
After typhoon Ondoy hit the Philippines, we are also included of those who were affected by that tragedy.   There was a terrible flood in area. It happened before way back 2000 or 2001; after several years of stillness, we didn’t imagine it will happen again. (Typhoon Ondoy was really a huge problem last year). We are workaholics.   Time is gold for my mother who operates her own company.   My younger sister’s school schedule then was so tight; it’s her graduation year.   And I, as preschool teacher then, really needs to work harder to earn money.   The whole flood thing in the community really affects us. For a couple of day, turned into weeks, I lived from different places to which I could freely move out from the flooded community and to have a normal life as a working one.   I lived in Guadalupe, Makati.   A family friend of ours, Papa Nonoy, who is a “stay-in” of a construction factory industry, offered his place so we could go through our normal life.   I stayed there for a wee

MY DECISION

Image
It was April 29, 2008 when I decided to obey the Lord and follow Him through baptism. It was a personal decision.   No one forced me to be baptized. When I received Christ as my personal Lord and Savior, it did just stop in there.   I learned that I should follow Him in obedience through baptism.   I went a lesson about the whole thing.   Thanks to Nanay Josie who continuously teach me about baptism. wearing Maria Clara costume :) Getting hired! Every student’s aim is to graduate. Who would want just to study without having a recognition in finishing a particular task as a student. I didn’t graduate on time but I can say that I enjoyed my stay in the university.   I learned a lot outside the 4 corners of the classroom I stayed in for 5 years.   It’s worth it anyway! strike a graduation pose please Photo taken by my sister! Evangelical Concerts

I wasn’t into concerts ever since. But it changed when I appreciate how to save money to buy tickets. I watched the first concert of HILLSONG UNITED 2 years ago. It was Coco who influenced me to try watching these concerts. I had to make a leave from my work just to attend here :) Then followed by PASSION MANILA.   I now got to see CHRIS TOMLIN!! a very awesome night! Then, DARLENE ZSCHECH’s Concert with HILLSONG.   It was a dream come true experience! can't help to sing out loud for GOD The recent concert that we’ve watched was CITIPOINTE’S COMMISSION MY SOUL concert. we were seating at the first row nice one! now delivering the God's message very blessed couple :) emk, coco, bobot renniel and emk (wearing nice shirts!) IT WAS NOT all about the Worship team or Worship Leader that I am after for that’s why I’m watching their concerts. It was about GOD. It was about experience the LORD’s presence, about the experience of how

a PHOTO and its own STORY

SALT AND PEPPER Who could drop by in a kitchen without these two seasonings, SALT and PEPPER? What about in a Pizza restaurant without seeing SALT and PEPPER together in each table or probably in their condiments area? Who could have cook delicious viand, with soup or not, plain or not, fried or not fried without including SALT and PEPPER? What about making a sauce or dip for crackers? SALT and PEPPER are always present in there. In a movie FIREPROOF (a must seen movie for the couple); it was explained why two people who made a vow before the Lord (marriage) should not be separated (divorce, annulment).   The couple was compared to a SALT and PEPPER. One cannot live without the other.   Either way, the wife or the husband must not leave his/her partner behind. Just like SALT and PEPPER, these two coincides with one another.   Something is missing without salt or pepper; it should be together. MY KULIT It was my birthday when I first had my hamsters. I would make this any longer,

In two years of waiting, I had experienced circumstances that only few people know how I fought for what I believed in. It was not an intention to fall in love with him. It was not a plan. It happened. I believed he didn’t also plan to fall in love with me. Although we know each other casually even before I got down on my knees asking someone to help me out of the bondage that I was in.   Before there was him, I came first – that’s in term of the workplace that both of us were in. He was a brother.   But I never imagined that I will fall for him. It was not intentional.   I just needed someone to help me.   There he was. But the grace and goodness of the Lord was present during that time.   The Lord used him so I could be free.   I was once a lost soul who was saved by God. It was not my plan. Things happened so fast. I don’t know how I could thank him for all the things he has done for me. Through him, I became who I am.   It was not all about the façade thing.   Whether I am at my b
