One of my favorite students in previous Korean company I worked with . Hee Eun Kim (Megan) She was 11 years old then. Thanks to Facebook.   I found her! Last time, (I was at Leah’s house) I called her in their house because we lost our communication in email.. (she has amnesia with her password). Her mom answered it but sadly, Megan went outside to watch a movie.   And here she is now.. Very pretty. I sent her a message in FB. And here’s her reply: Re: Megan :) oh my god my mum told me that u called me So I was like OMG..;; im in Korea now ha-ha I miss u so much..... maybe on weekend I want u to call me like um....not in the morning haha Here’s my number 010-???? -???? What a surprise. ♥♥♥

So, what happened for this month? Looking back at my Starbucks Silver Planner, I started off this month by a VACATION LEAVE. Also, I had started giving my boyfriend a fine every time I see him drinking COKE. It was also the month when I really experienced STRESSFUL work due to lessons we’re working on called TOEIC SPEAKING. Have you guys tried it? February was also the month for movies, try-me restaurant (meaning, restaurants which I haven’t tried eating yet with someone.)   I also got to learn some Korean words and phrases. I really need to learn that stuff. Not to mention the pay day too. That’s it? No. Why am I blogging these things? I just want to share how February went through and the experiences I had. I know the Lord had given me a test of faith this month. There were circumstances where in I need to really depend on Him alone, not within my strength but with GOD’S strength alone. How can I forget 12th day of the month? It's the day that Coco asked me "Can you be my girlfriend?" He even asked me what's the difference of  "Yes, I will" and "Yes, I do." February 13, 2011 : I was at the church the whole day. It was quite a long Sunday for me.  My 남자 친구 and I had our dinner at my favorite kimchi house, of which they also sell foods that my boyfriend could eat. Then, we attended a worship night too at Victory Ortigas. We usually do that everytime we have ample of time to do it (we've been doing it for almost 3 years). Then we headed off to our house, but before that, we went to a cafe/computer shop. We just got so curious although we've been planning it for years to have a sip of coffee there, or eat something, whatever is on the menu ♥ We both had Ice Choco, he had his Carbonara (his favorite) and I just had a Hungarian Sandwich.  It tastes good in a way, and it's not that expensive too. The place was also cool, it wasn't that crowded even if it's a cafe and computer shop at the same time. Seems like I got more than one entry in a day. I would just like to share the famous volcano here in the Philippines, MAYON VOLCANO.  It's an active volcano in the country.  It's full in stories, histories. One night, my students and I were studying about volcanoes. I asked him to tell what's the famous volcano in Korea. He showed me a picture of Mount Baekdu.  Here is a shot of Mount Baekdu in North Korea, the highest volcano lake in world. Mt Baekdu lies in the northeast corner of North Korea, near the Chinese border. Everyday, before we (I) begin with my lesson proper or just a free talking class with my students, I have a prepared greetings slide for them.  Well, I can actually greet my students and the Korean teacher verbally "Hello everyone! Happy _____." but instead, I'm preparing slides for them so it could also catch their attention, (not all students want to see themselves in the camera, haha).   It could be of any kind, theme (wholesome ofcourse), subject.  Korean students especially the Kindergarten, Elementary level are somewhat sensitive seeing visuals that are kinda fleshy or sensual.  I used cartoon characters before. I also even use K-POP artists, foods, the 7 Wonders of the World! But this week's greetings are just some cute stuff I saw in the internet! Happy Friday for tomorrow~

I started to love singing when I was a kid. I sing a lot. I was fascinated with MTV and FM stations. I sing in the school. I sing in the classroom (I am forced to do s o, so that there'll be less seatworks!) I sing using videoke too :P I sing in the church. I'm using the talent that the Lord had given me so I could give Him back the glory. I sang as a wedding singer  :) It was my first time to attend a Christian wedding.♥ singing out loud (lovely :)

What is loneliness? I don't know how to define it; all I can do is describe it.  It's an underlying anxiety at having no one close, a sharp ache in a moment of grief, and an empty feeling in the pit of the stomach when we know we have no one to whom we can turn.  There is no anguish like loneliness. But God has a cure for loneliness. In our walk with God, He offers friendship, a family, and a peace that passes all understanding.  When we meet Him, we are not guaranteed never to feel lonely, but we are promised that we will never be alone. After all, He is the one who said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5) 

I'm not actually fine today. I just kept myself busy. I'm part of a team doing materials for TOEIC Speaking - to be used by Korean students. Thank God I was able to finish my part today. A big thanks for my co-teachers in sharing their opinions about some questions I handed them. Our team leader, Korean boss too, Ms.Kayla, sent me a message. It put a smile on my face realizing I am appreciated too by the things or probably the words I'm sharing with her (to lighten up our stressful and demanding task). :)

God is certainly with us when things are going well, but He is also with us when things aren't going so well. God is there when we achieve a major accomplishment or victory in life, but He is also there in the hospital room when we receieve the bad news were were hoping not to hear. Whether in the ups or the downs, God is with us in every case. The key thought is this: Whether you are going through weeping or joy, give thanks to God.   Whether you are in an up time or a down time, give thanks to God. If you are experiencning prosperity or poverty, give thanks to God.   If you are in times of dancing or mourning, give thanks to God. Don't ever forget that the one constant in all of life is God's presence with you, and for that He deserves to be praised.
